allow me to introduce myself…

“Hello, internet! My name is Bradley Barefoot and as you can probably infer, I manage this website’s content. As a proud native of Wilmington, I grew up on the beach with my two younger sisters and my wonderful parents, who ran their three kids all over the city. All three of us had very different interests as children so my mom would have to drive us across town to allow us to do what we really wanted to do. For me, that would mean a drive to ‘downtown’.

As a kid, I always had a massive interest in various forms of entertainment. I would love to perform with the local community theaters in downtown Wilmington. I mainly participated in the musicals and got to perform in high-level productions. I worked on such titles as “Sweeney Todd” and “The Will Rogers Follies”. While my interest mainly lies in the performing arts (particularly in the realm of musical theatre), I have also thoroughly enjoyed creating and producing media content.

Working in the music/theatre world is always a joy but I am also interested in having a real career in the media/journalism field post-graduation. Planning to pursue a degree in media and journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, I am taking many courses that will allow me to be marketable in those job fields. In my professional career, I am hoping to work for a company with their branding and outreach. With this website, I hope to showcase my interests through various forms of relevant multimedia, intriguing commentary about website content, and presenting my other interests through art; both physical and performing.
